Artist: Michael Forsberg Promise of rebirth, the eggs of two American robins (Turdus migratorius) are held secure in the sturdy cup of their nest, high up in an aspen stand on the edge of the prairie. Stands of quaking aspen can be thousands of years old. Lovers of sunlight, aspen evolved on this landscape where periodic fires kept at bay other trees that would shade them. 5% or more of the profits from my work goes to support International League of Conservation Photographers.
