Artist: Bob Rozinski / Wendy Shattil

Smaller than the Red fox, the Swift Fox is found in the western grasslands of North America, such as Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Texas. Population numbers in the wild are unknown, but they are found in less than 40% of their historic range. Due to predator control programs in the 1930s, it was considered extinct in Canada for some time, but reintroduction programs have been successful in reintroducing the species.

1% or more of the profits from my work goes to support International League of Conservation Photographers.
