Missouri River Exposed Exhibit

 

Conservation photographer Joe Riis recently announced that his exhibit, "Missouri River Exposed", will be on display at the U.S. Department of Interior Museum from October 19, 2007 through January, 2008. The exhibit has been traveling for just over a year, opening in public centers and galleries in South Dakota, Wyoming and West Virginia.

Riis hopes to raise public awareness of the river's natural beauty as well as the environmental problems that threaten the health of the river and the species that depend on it.
