
Daniel Armour-Barrett
Daniel Armour-Barrett is originally from northern Illinois where he was born in 1953. In 1974 he received a degree in ornamental horticulture specializing in turf management. From 1983 until 1993 he lived in Europe, where for six years he lived in the beautiful Bavarian alpine village of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, West Germany. There he met his lovely wife, 'Aine, from Dublin, Ireland.
In 1987 they relocated to Galway City, County Galway in the West of Ireland, where their son, Danny, was born. While living in Europe Daniel became an accomplished painter, working originally in oils on canvas and eventually making the switch to acrylics. He quickly began to establish a presence as a painter in Galway City where he was represented by the internationally renowned and respected Kenny Gallery.
In 1993 they moved to where they currently reside, beautiful Castle Rock, Colorado, just south of Denver. In 1995 Daniel established Lotus Vine Landscape Gardening
