Tijana Bjelajac
Tijana Bjelajac is New York based visual artist. Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, she moved to the U.S. in 2004. She received her B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Belgrade University and her M.F.A. in theater design from Boston University.
Her work as a painter explores the urban experience.
She has shown her work in various collective and solo exhibitions in Europe and United States.
Tijana is the recipient of several major awards, including the prestigious Kahn Career Entry Award for extraordinary talents from the Boston University (2007) and the Norwegian Embassy Talent Award (Serbia, 2002). She was a Barbizon Set Design Finalist in 2005.
