Hi! My name is Jennifer Imm, and I am a 17-year-old, amateur photographer from Northern Virginia, USA. I have always had a passion for nature and the conservation of the environment in which we live. I believe that most people do not truly appreciate the beauty of nature, and the purpose of my photography is to share my love of the environment with others.
The charity I have chosen to donate all of my profits to is called Kids of Kilimanjaro. While it does not directly help the environment, this charity helps in the conservation of people who truly need our help. Kids of Kilimanjaro provides school lunches to children living near Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. For many, it is the only meal they get, and without it, they would die of starvation. Just $29 is enough to feed a child for an entire year!
This program has also helped to encourage many children who previously worked on family farms to pursue an education instead. I love that Kids of Kilimanjaro not only saves lives, but also creates hope for the future, by educating Tanzania's youth.
