Peggy Corpeny

Throughout her life, Peggy Corpeny has enjoyed puttering in a variety of creative endeavors but it wasn't until mid-November 1999 that she decided to take the leap and officially created Heart Bow Press. After nearly 20 years as a psychiatric social worker working primarily with children and adolescents she, with the support of family and friends, quit her "job" in search of a less stressful lifestyle which would allow her to share her passion for this Life using her photography and painting.

Although she has had no formal training in painting or photography, her deep-felt connection to the natural world and it's rainbow of shapes, colors and shadow informs her work. Her paintings, while primitive in style, convey the emotion, contours and wonders of this Life as she experiences them.

1% of the profits from my work goes to support International League of Conservation Photographers.
