Artist Statement

Mike Roberts shoots what he knows - the American West and the beauty of his home state, Colorado. Nothing escapes Mike's keen eye - from a tiny leaf encased in snow to the dramatic cloud formations of the great western plains. Each image is captured with an attention to detail and appreciation for the artistry of the natural world. A self-taught photographer, Mike's work has been nurtured by over 15 years of working with and advising some of the best photographers in North America at one of the nation's premier fine art printing companies.
