Jim uses a technique he calls “Optical Extraction” to capture fragments of beauty to create purely visual experiences.

As a Fine Art Photographer he uses a technique he calls “Optical Extraction” to capture details of natural and man made beauty.

Regarding his fine art photography he comments:

“My urge to photograph is driven by a desire to live in
harmony and, perhaps, to share a little of the beauty
that surrounds us.

My images are the result of the sheer delight I find in
purely visual experiences. My hope is that they will
stop you long enough for something special to occur.
Perhaps a moment of peace, or the warmth of a
memory rekindled.”

Jim and his wife Nancy enjoy life in Larimer County, Co. with their two horses, a Bloodhound and a cat.

His work may be seen in the
Lincoln Gallery, 429 No. Lincoln, Loveland, Co
and Grand Lake Gallery, Grand Lake, CO

4% of the profits from my work goes to support Human Animal Bond (Colorado).
