Artist Statement
While I really enjoyed drawing and painting when I was young it wasn't until 23 years after college that I started painting, part-time. At first I thought that I wanted to paint realistic landscapes, but I found that I had fun and felt better painting abstractly. This I discovered when I played with using up the paint that was left-over on my palette after working on a realistic painting. From there painting evolved into a full-time passion and the energy-in-motion expressions that I am now doing. Painting brings me joy and is what I feel I am supposed to be doing.
My approach to painting is to ask for the highest good for all, and then I paint what I feel called to paint. I feel that the paintings have an aliveness to them. Others have commented that they feel that this is love, or light, or 'Source' energy, which is what, I believe, we really are. And, I am pleased that the prints seem to carry this feeling-energy too!
I have commented on what the paintings mean to me, but everyone will experience them in their own way.
So, if you feel called to purchase a print I am grateful and I hope that you really enjoy it for a long time to come!
Blessings to all, with love, Jana

Not Sure What Type of Print to Buy?
A few things to consider before ordering is whether you want to mat and frame a flat print, or if you want it canvas wrapped.
If you want to mat and frame the print it will come with a 1/2" border and you have a choice of canvas, Somerset Velvet Watercolor paper or Hahnemuhle Bamboo paper. You will need to add the cost of matting and framing to the cost of the print. Also, the flat paper prints will need glass to protect them while a canvas print will not.
If you decide you want it Gallery Canvas Wrapped it will come wrapped around 1 1/2" stretcher bars and will be ready to hang. Or you can order it Standard wrap which is 5/8" deep and put it in a frame.
I personally like the Gallery Canvas Wrap, either hung as is or with a floater frame as I think that shows off the print to it's best.
