Artist Statement

Ingo.jpg Ingo Oeland is a nature photographer who resides in Duisburg, Germany.

From his childhood on Ingo has been interested in nature, particulary wildlife. Therefore he has always spent as much time as possible outside exploring and observing.

When Ingo heard of such fascinating animals as kangaroos, wombats and the platypus, the decision to visit Australia was quickly made and has resulted in numerous photographic expeditions.

His enthusiasm for traveling and the beautiful places he encountered soon led to the desire to share his visual experiences with others. His ever-growing camera kit became Ingo’s tool for telling colourful stories about Australia’s wonderful but threatened places.

1% of the profits from my work goes to support Devils at Cradle (Tasmanian Devil Sanctuary).
