About Us

our mission

Art for Conservation celebrates the power of visual imagery as a catalyst to protect our planet’s cultures, creatures and climates. Through partnerships with conservation photographers, artists and organizations, we create and market fine art prints in support of causes both large and small.  Nurturing an ever expanding network of people, organizations and resources, Art for Conservation provides vital links for collaboration, action and education. The planet is in peril. The solution is in our hands.

Our parent company, Fine Print Imaging, has been serving the nature photography and fine art market for over 30 years. During that time, Fine Print has established itself as a company who is committed to protecting our environment and the people and creatures who inhabit our planet.  Fine Print Imaging was the second company in Fort Collins to become EPA certified. In 1998, through Art for Conservation, we began sponsoring the Philip Hyde Grant, a $5000 cash award that goes to a nature photographer who is pursuing a grass roots conservation cause. In 2008, we were selected by the Chamber of Commerce to receive the Environmental Business Award. And throughout our existence, we have supported countless individuals and organizations who share our passion for conservation.

Art for Conservation's goal is to support the efforts - and careers - of independent artists and photographers who are using their talents to both celebrate and protect the natural world. You can help by joining our artists in their causes. And you can help even more by buying their phenomenal art. All proceeds from Art for Conservation sales go to the artists and the conservation causes they support.

Art for Conservation has selected the following organizations to receive its 2009 contributions:
